HRP Sports sponosr rider Ryder Steffy - Tuesday, January 13, 2009
Pasco WA Jan 9 & 10th 2009 NW Arenacross Nationals and a packed house of about 3000 spectators saw Ryder Steffy age 14 out of Snohomish WA dominate the 125 JR and BTH JR class's and RYDCO PowerSports.com Racing dominate the podium all night long. Ryder Steffy won his heat race in convincing style on Friday night to get the number one pick on the gate in the Friday night shows BTH JR moto. The BTH JR moto was the only JR moto run on Fridays nights show. As the gate dropped in the main Ryder with a not so perfect start was collected in the whoop section by another rider. He remounted in second to last place and charged to the front of the pack where on the last lap after making a clean pass on on second place was taken out with 3 corners to go. Both riders went down and Ryder finished 5th in the main.

Saturday in qualifier 1 Ryder went down hard on the start and was knocked out, sat out his first JR heat but came back 3 moto's later to win his BTH JR qualifier in a convincing fashion. Ryder went to the last chance in the 125 JR class and pulled out a win despite not feeling his best. In the BTH JR Main event Ry got a poor jump out of the gate leaving him in near last rounding the first corner he slowly moved his way to the front of the pack but ran out of laps and settled for 2nd and a place on the podium. 125 JR main event with a last pick on the gate Ryder got a good jump and went hard around the outside hitting the whoops in about 5th place within the next 3 laps Ryder moved into 1st and pulled away to a convincing win. It was a tough weekend and not quite the results Ryder was looking for but considering the mayhem that was going on, on the track he was happy with the outcome.

RYDCO PowerSports.com Racing Team faired very well this weekend with riders in 12 class's making podium's talking to the crowd and giving love to our sponsors. Congratulations to:
